    07Straight answers

    The questions people actually ask.

What comes up on nearly every first call, answered here so you do not have to book one to find out.

How much does a website cost?
Most small-business sites here land between $1,500 and $5,000 depending on how many pages you need and whether the content is written already. You get a fixed price before any work starts, so the number you approve is the number you pay. There is no monthly platform fee to me, because the site is yours and it runs on hosting you own.
    How long does it take?
A straightforward five-page site takes two to three weeks from the day content is ready. The part that usually sets the timeline is not the build, it is waiting on photos, service descriptions and logins. If you have those ready, it moves faster.
Do I have to leave my current website platform?
No. If your site is on Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace or Wix and it is working, the answer is often to fix what is slow or unclear rather than rebuild it. A rebuild makes sense when the platform is costing you money every month, when the site cannot be made fast, or when it was never set up to be found in search.
What is AI search visibility, and does it actually matter yet?
It means being named when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI answers for a recommendation in your industry and area. It matters now because those answers are already replacing the first click for research questions. The work is unglamorous: correct structured data about your business, consistent name, address and phone across the web, and pages that answer questions directly enough to be quoted.
Will I rank number one on Google?
Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is selling something. What can be promised is the work that makes ranking possible: a fast site, correct technical setup, structured data, and content aimed at what your customers actually type. For a local business the bigger opportunity is usually the map results rather than the regular listings, and that is driven mostly by your Google Business Profile and your reviews.
Do you work with businesses outside Fuquay-Varina?
Yes. Most local work is in Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Apex, Cary, Garner and Raleigh, and remote clients anywhere in the United States are welcome. Local clients get in-person meetings if they want them. Remote clients get the same work over video.
What do you need from me to start?
A short call, access to your domain and current hosting, your logo if you have one, and whatever photos and service descriptions exist. If the content does not exist, that gets scoped as part of the project rather than left as your homework.
What happens after the site launches?
You own the domain, the hosting account and the analytics. Nothing is held hostage. If you want ongoing help with content or visibility, that is a separate arrangement you can start or stop, not a contract you are locked into.
